You shouldn’t accept that you are what you are, that is what you doomed to be. NO. You shouldn’t accept that. You have to fight. You have to struggle and you have to scrap. You have to kick and claw at those weaknesses to change them, to stop them.
Some days you win. Some days you don’t. But each and every day you get back up and you move forward with your fists clenched toward the battle, toward the struggle and you fight with everything you’ve got to overcome those weaknesses and those shortfalls and those flaws. As you strive to be just a little bit better today than you were yesterday.
There is no longer any room for excuses. Excuses are the tools of incompetent used to build bridges to nowhere and monuments of nothingness. Well we’ve got no time for excuses. Nobody is going to give you anything that you have not earned. Nobody cares how tough your upbringing was. Nobody cares if you suffered some discrimination.
You have to remember that whatever you’ve gone through it pales in comparison to the hardships previous generations endured and they overcame them and if they overcame them you can overcome them too.
You don’t know what you’ve got until all hell breaks loose. You don’t know what you can take until the pressure is applied to your life. You don’t know what you can endure until you’ve been under fire and under struggle and under tribulation you can’t learn what’s in you sitting back in a lazy boy chair hitting the remote control watching HBO and Cinemax but when all hell breaks loose that’s when you get to see what you got.
You can tell by the burdens you bear and the load you carry and the stuff you endure. It’s not just that shock your enemies, you shock yourself they said you were gonna die but through hell and high water you are still here.
